1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using this website or engaging our services, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
2. Services and Quotes
All quotes provided by Handyman Express are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. Prices are subject to change after the quote expiration. A signed quote or confirmed booking constitutes acceptance of our terms.
We reserve the right to adjust quotes if additional damage or issues are discovered during the assessment process.
3. Payment Terms
- A 50% deposit is required to schedule restoration work
- Final payment is due upon completion before delivery
- We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards
- Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled start date will receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours may forfeit the deposit. If we cannot access the furniture at the scheduled time, additional fees may apply.
5. Liability and Insurance
Handyman Express maintains liability insurance covering furniture in our care. Our liability is limited to the lesser of the original furniture value or the restoration cost. We recommend customers maintain their own insurance for high-value pieces.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear patterns, or issues not identified during the initial assessment.
6. Warranty
We offer a 90-day warranty on all restoration work, covering defects in our craftsmanship. This warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse or accidents
- Normal wear and tear
- Issues arising from not following care instructions
7. Turnaround Times
Estimated turnaround times are provided as estimates only. Factors beyond our control, including parts availability, material curing times, and scope changes, may affect completion dates. We will communicate any delays promptly.
8. Website Usage
This website is owned and operated by Handyman Express. All content, including text, images, and materials, is protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without written permission.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any aspect of our website at any time without notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Handyman Express shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.
